Fundraiser: Help Diego Go On His First Europe Soccer Tournament

Hello, my name is Diego Rubio.  I am 12 years old and I play soccer on a team in Sacramento, California.  My uncles; Jesus Rubio & Jim Anderson are helping me raise money for a trip of a lifetime……

I have been given the opportunity to join other high level players to participate on a team from the United States traveling to Scandinavia during the summer of 2019. Playing on this team means I will have one week of intense training, and play in two of the world’s largest International Soccer tournaments, the Gothia Cup in Sweden where 1700 teams from 82 nations will be represented. I will also be playing in the Dana Cup in Denmark, where 1100 teams from 45 nations will be competing as well. During this 3 week trip, I will have the opportunity to meet players from different cultures and interact with experts in soccer. I believe playing on this world’s stage will give me the great international experience and could also help me have a better chance to be selected by a college soccer program.  Playing on a college team has been my goal and dream.
